Fall in our End

Makes
these photos below seem wordless!

Don't you just love the colors of Fall? Honestly, I can't get enough of 'em! There are a bunch of different hues here in Central and North Wisconsin (what I shared are just a few of what I got! :D) and my eyes are feasting on how gorgeous the surroundings are! It's this time of the year when I can say I'm thankful to be residing in this place! But of course, winter is another story! :)

Water Filter

What
kind of drinking water do you guys use? Bottled water of pure or distilled? Just your tap water? In my home, we first used the sold drinking water in gallons and we liked the taste of it actually, but because it has gotten more expensive each time, we've thought of just using the tap water since what we have here in the city of Stevens Point is pretty good and clean and would definitely be okay to be just our drinking water. As a matter of fact, the city has ranked one of the top 5 cleanest tap water nationwide last year. With that, we only needed a whole house water filter to make it even more safer and cleaner, and so, I'm targeting the clearance section of of the water filters over at this site that I've just stumbled upon!

For now, we are still buying our drinking water and we do the refill thing as it saves as more than we buy those in gallons every time, but I am really looking forward to getting our home a very helpful and beneficial water filter. I'm sure it can save us even more!

Mercy!

I am the busiest bee right now! How I wish the sun stops moving so time stays for me! I feel like I am not so ready yet for all of these exams that I will be conquering tomorrow and on Thursday! HAH! Whoever thinks that studying, I mean, real studying is that easy! Lol. I've tried going offline for most of my free time because there's just countless of pages that demand my attention but the thing is, I can't seem to find a "free" time anymore! He he he... I am not complaining of course! Swithart would always remind me that sweet success is in the challenging part. And because he's seeing me to be really challenged, he's reckoning sweet success is in store for me! See? He's my number one supporter! But really, I want to shout out loud "MERCY!" right now because I totally need some! :)

Road Assistance

The importance of roadside assistance feature as part of your auto insurance-- how important it is to you? Well, it is 100% needed to me! That's why we didn't fail to have it in our car insurance! It's been proven and tested many, many times that is is a very helpful part of traveling, when an unavoidable circumstance dealing with your auto occurs. Our friend once shared to us that they went on a road trip from Central Wisconsin to the state of Colorado and in the wilderness of the middle states between the two, their car acted up. Well, you can guess! It's the roadside assistance that they got which gave them a breezy solution to their worries! So if you're a traveler, or a car owner at that, think of this feature when you're shopping for a car insurance!

Eye Twitching

I
must say I am loving my Human Diseases class! Not only that, I like how our professor does the lecturing. He's so good in encouraging us to participate and take part in the discussion by sharing things and experiences that are related to our topic. Today, we talked about infectious diseases and though eye twitch isn't one of them, still, we get to touch a little bit about eye twitching-- its cause, cures, and more FAQs because one of my classmates has actually such condition so it was pretty much a good discussion. The think that I am complaining most about this course is its to many medical terminologies to be memorized and remembered so you can imagine what I'll go through every exam time! Overall though, I find this course really interesting!

Cold Sunday

It's cold and it's very Autumn! It's only mid-September but we're already dealing with the freezing temperature around here, every day. Well, it's not actually freezing as it's still in the 50s, but because we come from summer, 50s and 60s are already cold! Just fine though, as the cold comes with the colorful surroundings since it's already very Autumn. This is just one of the gorgeous spot that I love looking at every time!

Today, I got so many school stuff to deal with. It seems like weekend is just very short when you are working or studying! My weekend break is actually just on Sundays since Saturday is my Sabbath and even if I don't do it intentionally, I just tend to forget all the cares of the world when it's Sabbath; it's my day to recharge and be re-energized by just spending the day with my family worshiping God. So literally, Sunday is only my break. And today, good luck to me, because I'm flooded with so many things to do. Yay!

The Benefits of Custom Labels

Many people I know do it. My cousin who was the in-charge of the first ever clan reunion that was done a couple of months ago had it done. A friend’s daughter who recently just had a debut party also had it. A wedding that I missed attending had it as well. What’s so common about all those events that I’ve mentioned? Well, it’s the Custom Label that they had as announcement or important information to tell the public about the happening. Usually, everything was in a large tarp, sort of a streamer or banner, and very much personalized, so it made the celebration a lot nicer.

Custom Labels can be in many forms. And it could serve any purpose as well. With that, datagraphicsinc.com has a lot to do for you. Whether you will need custom labels, overlays, nameplates, industrial labels, and more, Data Graphics can do magics! I think many companies, small or large, these days are into custom labels for marketing purposes and they find it very beneficial. And as much as it can add beauty and memories to a personal event that we celebrate, it can do wonders as well to the company advertisement part. So, if you are needing any kind of custom labels, give datagraphicsinc.com a visit now! It will be worth it!

Horse Corner

We
received an invitation from a very close friend at church who has a ranch to come visit their place and check out their horses plus a couple of ponies for the little daughter and my father-in-law. Mister D, the cowboy, mentioned horse tack and some other horse stuff that he got in his place and how he would love to tour us around. I am not too excited about it really as I'm not into cowboy stuff, but my little girl, my father-in-law, and the hubby are big time horse lovers so might as well join them on that upcoming trip. As to when that will be, we have yet to schedule it. The place is just less than an hour drive from our place so it won't be bad!

TGIF at last!

It
has been a long, tiring, and pretty miserable week! Yesterday, I felt worst at school after my unfinished exam which was passed to the professor because of a short time allotment: 100 items in just 35 minutes; 30 items of it was a moving exam of the anatomy of the rat, and another 70 items of it was plain objective. It sure was tough, man! I wonder if any of my classmates were able to finish it, or to perfect it even! I doubt. So yeah, I felt I was at the lowest time yesterday. I got a class for straight 9 hours, woke up at 3am to study, and stayed up for 21 hours that day. What a mess, huh?

Now, I am glad that this week will soon be over. I only have one class today, but the lab test report that I should be working on kept my mind boggled all this time. Too much problems to work on and 90 % is problem solving! I didn't understand the professor because he explained it the hard way that when I asked help from the hubby, I got the easiest way of solving it. Oh my, problem solving between doctors and real mathematicians sure has a huge difference! Lol.

Anyway, 'nuff of the whines and complaints! For now, I am glad that weekend is starting. Too many things to do here at home later after class, and tomorrow, for the Sabbath, I pray that I'll be able to gain "that" special Sabbath blessings that He prepares for His people! I hope you all will have a great weekend!

More on Being Secured

As
a mom who now leaves my daughter every day when I go to school to attend classes, the thought of securing my daughter at home, together with her grandparents is something that is on top of my priorities. We don't have security cameras around our home but there is one just by our apartment complex's entrance so it helps a lot. The daughter is wondering, too, if she can use cell phone spying on me so she will know where my exact location is every time. When I am in school for 9 hours straight every Tuesdays and Thursdays, that's when the cell phone spying would work best. At least, that's what my daughter thinks it will. But actually, brickhousesecurity.com does even more in protecting your property and securing your home. You might want to check it out now and see what services they have best suit your need!

Acne? Not too bad!

I
am one of the few individuals out there who are blessed to have a skin not prone to acne. With that being said, finding what acne medications that will work best isn't a problem at all. My teenage niece-in-law considers her skin a problem though! I think she has tried every acne medicine out there already, and yet, to no avail. I think it's in the genes, I'm not sure. It should be one thing that I will learn from my Human Diseases class. I'll see. But here, I got one picture to show:

That is me right there during our recent trip to Marshfield, WI. You can't see any breakout in my face, can you? I know, it's not a close-up shot that's why. But actually, during this time, there were two breakouts in my forehead and my nose because of the "woman thing" that I was having. Still, I was able to managed to show off my smile and pretend like those acne couldn't break me at all. Lol. So yeah, I am not acne-prone, but I have constant breakouts still every month and I guess it's not too bad, is it?

Note Cards

I haven't shared any interesting story yet regarding my school experience. If you must know, I have a lot, however, I don't have time to sit down and write everything in detail. Studying comes in second next to my being a mother you see. I hope when there'll be less pressure at school, I will be able to pen down what my awesome experiences are. However, one thing that's worth mentioning though is about my husband's students. You see, he teaches Mathematics courses and he's got quite a number of students who go to his office for some tutorials and Math help.

One time, as I hurried to his office (I usually stay there when I don't have class), a couple of personalized note cards were posted on the door saying how grateful they were for the professor's help. I thought how nice of them to appreciate those little things that my husband does. It sure is a great motivation for the hubby to teach not only from the book but from the heart as well. But above all, it's good to keep all those note cards as they'll serve as good remembrances of his teaching experience. Just an inspiration, really!

Autumn!

It
is getting cold in our neck of the woods now! When you look around, the trees are starting to turn red, orange, purple, pink, and yellow in colors. Ah... goodbye summer! The grounds are now filled with those fallen leaves as a matter of fact. Yes, it is officially Autumn around here already. And oh, did I mention it is getting to cold? It is, therefore, it's time to pull out those warm clothes like cardigan sweaters and fleece pants to keep you warm! I already did, especially that I leave home early in the morning for my classes so I have to wear either sweaters or jackets to beat the cold. It's been great so far, and I love the red surroundings. But of course, winter be will be another story. :)

Inlove with sunset!

I
can't hide it, I am soooo inlove with sunset! Why not, when it is so gorgeous and very pleasant to my eyes! I can't get enough of it that yesterday afternoon, when God blessed us with one, I kept on pressing the shutter and I was able to capture a whole lot of pictures of it in less than 5 minutes while we were in motion. These two shots are my favorite among the 20+ I've had:

This was at the Walmart parking lot right after we got out from our grocery shopping.

And this was by the hi-way just before we reach our place.

Oh how I'd love to go to the nearest, not to be burned but to appreciate some more its wonderful beauty. God is awesome for giving the world the sun as people like me truly adore such creation!

Starting!!!

I
am starting to lose weight! At least I thought so. Lol. It's only been less than two weeks since the pressure and tiredness of schooling kicked in, and yet, I kind of feel like I'm heading there! I think I am having the best weight loss supplement out there-- exercise, less foods, and weary mind! Ha ha ha. I shall see what happens in the next month or two. I hope I can say it all worked out! Anyway, if you can share something about losing weight, I'd appreciate your take on that. I keep complaining right now of how hard my courses are and the energy that I need to deal with studying while being a full-time mom and wife at home. Yes, it is not that easy and I am struggling with those duties, but when I'll lose weight after this semester, then I'd really be shouting out loud that I made it!!! Lol.

Going Natural!

I
am lucky and blessed to have a face that is not prone to acne! Hurray to that! Whenever a breakout arises, I usually prefer going with those natural acne treatments out there and I think it's worth it! One of the natural method I applied to my face is a simple facial massage:

I cannot go the a body or facial spa anytime I want to though because of inaccessibility and budget constraints but I am glad that the hubby's tender hands are always ready to spare me with those much-needed massages. I feel like I need a whole body massage this coming weekend though! School has been very stressful this week and I still have three more days to conquer. Hopefully, a spa will become real for me this weekend so there'll be no acne found in my face soon brought my stress and tensions! How about you? What's your natural acne treatment? Anything?

Learning Everyday

My
professor in Human Physiology is a Medical Doctor and a Ph.D. in Biology at the same time. With such accolade, you bet, I am learning a whole lot of things from him! Although I feel like I'm way behind compared to my classmates who are native English speakers, still, I am coping my very best to join them in the challenge. I tend to feel so discouraged for not being one of them whose first language is English, but at the end of the day, when I count how many new skills and learningsI have acquired through my persistence and diligence, especially when it comes to health and the human body, I can always breathe in a sigh of relief. Our topic in the coming classes involves a lot of the human body systems and I am thinking that Professor Sol might mention colon cleanse as part of taking care of our human body parts within us. I can't wait for the next session as I'm sure there'll be a lot of knowledge that await me!

Another Year Older...

Yay!
This man turns another year older today!

Photo captured by his little daughter!

He is Triz's Dadi; Nic and Domie's son; Rey, Gennie, Edwin, Daisy, and Nicanz's brother; and this blog's author's husband! He is an Uncle, a Tito, a friend to countless, a mentor to many. He loves to hike, to make fun outdoor adventure, to watch sports, to play chess! He is a Sabbath-keeper, a preacher, and a trying-hard singer! He speaks two languages very fluently: Visayan and Mathematics. English? Nah... he still struggles until now, just like me! He is my inspiration and many others as well and today, as he celebrates his birthday, I hope and pray that he can feel that he is one blessed individual because he really is.

Happy birthday swithart! My wish is for you to finish your dissertation real soon! Ha ha ha. I love you Tol.. forever! May God will always bless you along the way!

Bon Firing

Late
Summer or early Fall is the best time for a bonfire. It is for me. And every time, an outdoor lighting would be really helpful to lighten the corner of the spot where we're out. We don't have the Sea Gull outdoor lighting around here and this one that I found at the website is just so gorgeous that the little daughter exclaimed, "Can we have that, Mom?" when she saw it!

It's really nice, is it not? And of course, you can choose from a wide selection at elightspot.com! On the last Sunday of this month, we will be having an outdoor picnic that will last through early evening so I'm sure, outdoor lighting will be really useful that time. I wonder if our venue has enough lighting; might as well ask the in-charge about it as the site that I'm looking at right now might help!

Precious Gift

Today,
my husband turns another year older. He always does, every 12th of September! I don't have anything material to give him but a celebration worth keeping and a love that will last a lifetime. I'm sure with his daughter around, he is the happiest. The term life insurance that he got for our family is one precious gift as well that I am so thankful for. But more than anything else, his birthday this year is the grandest gift. Thank you, Lord for the gift of life, and of another year!

iPhone Accessories for my iPod Touch

This
new iPod touch that I've rewarded to myself over a month ago does a lot of magic! Lol. I love it, the little daughter adores it, and the hubby is all hats off to it! Ha ha ha.

I check my mails and do some Facebooking from there when I'm on the go. The daughter enjoys watching her Youtube videos from there, and the hubby loves the music files that we play when we're hitting the interstate highways! Its touch screen feature is very sensitive though, and I am afraid it will get damaged soon. The consolation I have is that I can use many iphone accessories for it so I've bought an iPhone case and a screen protector and since then, my iPod touch has never been this protected! In other words, I love this iPod touch, and so I should do something to let it last long! :)

Thank God It's Friday!

I am just one of the many out there who are shouting TGIF every weekend! Hurray! I can now truly relate to such ecstasy after the two weeks of full classes that I've had as a student! It isn't easy to be away from my daughter from 7:30am to 4:00pm every Tuesday and Thursday and sure, it is very tiring! So now, you must be hearing me shouting...

Lol. It isn't easy to be one busy momma! Later today, we will be off to do some grocery shopping for the Sabbath tomorrow for the birthday we will celebrate this coming Sunday and oh... I am so grateful for all of these US Coupons that I've printed as these could help me save some bucks! Plus, there'll be a lot of clearances at the stores right now for all those summer season stuff on sale so it should be a fun shopping later! Meanwhile, I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!

Sink Upgrade

After
having been from a Human Physiology laboratory that has vessel sinks in it, now I have thought of upgrading our sinks around here at home! I like the vessel sink that was put up at the lab, it helps manage the spills and stains considering that it was also white, the dirt is very visible. Mrdirectint.com has a lot of kinds of sinks at low prices plus and affordable shipping. I know because the sister-in-law shopped from them and she has but positive feedback about the entire shopping experience! ;-)

The Fire!

A friend of mine in California virtually shouted at me last night informing me that there was a fire that was currently burning a part of Southern California and a friend of ours was one of the victims. It was very alarming that the family has left their home already, not minding the things inside because the lives were too precious to be left there. But accordingly, a jar of gold bullion was brought because it was a collection that has been three generations old so it was a good thing that it was taken out of the flaming place. Might as well try suggesting to them to have their gold investment be stored at usgoldbureau.com's care and handling. Not only will it remain safe, it will also gain interest in the future. It would be a worthy idea, will it not?

Good Morning, Coffee!

I
am such an early bird today, yay! I slept late last night because of a lot of readings I did for my two courses, and now, I am up very early. My classes for today will be very hectic that I might even need a cup of hot Ground Coffee! I'm not sure, but if I'll feel sleepy, may be.

Looks really irresistible, right? I am not a coffee drinker myself but like I've said again and again, its aroma is very inviting. Oh well, there are fresh coffees at the hubby's office anyway so if I feel that I'll really need a sip or more later, might as well try!

How about you? Are you a coffee drinker? What part does coffee does to your every day?

IVR

How
important is the the Interactive Voice Response feature of your phone is? Its zero missed calls feature is a huge help, isn't it? Do you use IVR yourself? I do for myself, and for all other phones that we have here at home because automating all of our incoming calls will let us still update who called who and why and when and in return, we can get back to that person. What a huge help, don't you think so? I bet all of you like what IVR does!

Apple: Up-close!

The
closest shot I've made of an apple still hanging on the branch:

Closer...

I haven't tried apple picking yet, and I sure hope I'll try it soon. There is an orchard that's not very far from here and I want to go, but I'm worrying that if we all get in, we might be flooded with apples by then and it will be a burden munching all of them. LOL. Took this in Marshfield last weekend when I was closest to an apple tree that was a bit tall and this is the best that I can show you. :)

Thinking Back...

I've had a long talk with my college buddy earlier and we had a great time reminiscing all those great memories we've had during our four years in college. Most were fun adventures and yes, they were all a nice part of our yesterdays. As a Mass Communications major, I was very much involved in a school organization that's pretty much like a Social Media Agency where the members get to practice our role in the media once we're out in the real world. It was interesting and like I've said, it's all part of a great past!

Almost!

I've
almost tried the Instant Coffee available at the Mathematics Department's office the other day when I left my glass of hot chocolate at home. One that I was suppose to bring that morning upon leaving for school. I was almost tempted to try a sip because my stomach was growling, but when I tried sipping, it just didn't work out! Ha ha ha. I don't know what's with me but I can't make myself drink coffee even though I love its aroma. Oh well, it's a good thing though so I think there's no problem with that at all. Is there?

08 Numbers

How do you like a personalized phone number for your home phone? I'd love it so that there'll be less competition and it'll be a lot harder for the telemarketers to trace me down. 08 numbers are available at elitetele.com if you are interested. I'm just sharing it because you guys might find it beneficial for your needs so you can check out the site anytime!

I'm Making It!!!

I am so busy with school, but guess what, I still have the strength to face and do everything else that I want to accomplish apart from schooling. The reason? Because I have the inspiration to go on. My daughter she is!

Oh... but everything comes so smooth and in order when this little girl meets me at the front door everytime I come home from school! She is such a darling, and sure, a sanity-keeper! Thank you 'nak for the uplifting spirit everytime. You are my reason, and the happiness and fulfillment of my life! :) I can make it, because of you, next to The One Above!

Brash

Do
you know what Brash is? I am wondering, too, after I was told something about it, and now, I found myself checking it out and here is what I've stumbled upon!
Right at the heart of Brash Ltd. lies growth. As John Daly, Head of Search says, “If we are not growing, there is no point getting out of bed. At Brash, we’re all early risers. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.”

So check out the site and see what awaits you there! ;-)

IT Services

While
I am pursuing Nursing as a desired degree to finish in the next four on years at least, my sister-in-law on the other hand, though she desired a degree in health care as well, is not planning of enrolling on the same course but to remain as one of the IT professionals who can be called experts to do Managed IT Services. After all, computer is her first love, and so she said she'll remain in such plight for as long as her job would let her.

Indeed, everyone is destined to become great in one particular expertise. What are you great of?

Coffee Lover?

Are
you a coffee lover? I know of several people who claim they won't last a day without drinking at least 3 cups of coffee a day. They are such Coffee Beans junkie! But of course, I always refute their claim! Why? Because neither me nor the husband is a coffee drinker! Truth is, coffee is just not part of our household and generally, our lives. I love the aroma of the coffee, but I can't stay smelling it for longer than 20 minutes maybe.

But know this though: when I was little, my parents used to grow half a hectare of coffee and yes, I'm pretty much familiar of its use. It's just t I that I never became a lover of it. Chocolate though is a different story! Lol.

Phone Systems

I am one of the millions of people these days who are very thankful for the access of internet and phone services. Communication comes through both for me, my loved ones, and friends. With my family and friends who are countries away from me, the internet is the most special means of keeping in touch with them. As for my loved ones who are just right here in the US, phone or mobile systems are a savior! One of the great phone providers is the elitetele.com that has Toshiba Phone Systems, avaya, panasonic, or siemens phone systems. If you have any question of either, you can check out the site!

Grateful

Like
I've said in my previous posts, my Nursing School has started. It was tough leaving my little daughter behind especially that she keeps on begging (yes, begging!) me not to leave her at home. You see, we've never been separated for more than 6 hours I think in the last 4 years and 2 months since she was born, thus, being a part from her is very hard. My parents-in-law's presence, help, and assistance is a huge help, I must say. And with that, Pa and Ma-in-law deserve my gratefulness.

These inseparable old folks are simply amazing! I know, I am lucky to have them around, that's why I will try to ace my classes because part of my success will be dedicated to them. I am thankful that I have a good girl, too, who doesn't give Lolo and Lola headaches. Lol. Now that the first week of classes is done and the second week is to begin come Tuesday, I am confident that even if Triz will feel sad to see me go out of the house without her, she will make it until I can come home because the grandparents are around to make it easier! Yes, my heart is grateful....

September It Is Now!!!

Did
you notice how time flew by so quick? I can recall I was still wishing for the Fall Season to hurry up so I can start schooling and now, September has finally arrived and last week, I have started my Nursing School which I think is really exciting and interesting. It was surreal to be with the American students in a huge lecture hall for my Human Physiology and Conceptual Chemistry classes and yes, I can't get enough learning!

What makes the month of September really cool though is that it's a birthday celebration for two of the most important people in my life: my mother and my sweetheart! The hubby turns another year older on the 12th while mom's is on the 21st, and as early as now, I have been wondering what best to give them on their special gifts. I'm sure a personalized gift would be awesome, but since my mom is in the Philippines, I might just send her cash because I know it will be put to good use no matter what. As for swithart, maybe a personalized card from me and the daughter would be enough. If I'll ask him what he wants on his birthday, I'm sure he'd tell me that he doesn't need anything so better give him something that is really precious and worth keeping.

Bullion

So many kinds of precious stones and gems are displayed at the Geography and Geology Department gallery at the university. There are gold, silver, and diamonds, too. Or so I thought they were. It is amazing how the department was able to gather all those stuff that are related to the field. I am sure it will make the learning of the students much more real and practical. There are also gold and silver bullion in one of the galleries, and I am always in awe every time I pass through the hallway of the Geography and Geology Department. I always do, every time I proceed to the husband's office by the Mathematical Sciences and what's even more interesting is that I have learned that a couple professors in the Geology Department are gold collectors and investors. Makes me wonder if usgoldbureau.com is a site they are frequenting since it's one very relevant page to them. Might as well ask them if I can find a chance! ;-)

Wordless Capture

For
even the family of ducks do swim together!

If only one's family will never depart from each other....

Illinois Car Donation

Here
in the state of Wisconsin, there is a Korean War Memorial Park which is made and built in honor of those Korean War veterans who lived in Wisconsin state. Accordingly, there was a huge number of men and women from Wisconsin who served the country during that war, thus, the memorial park. In Illinois state however, more numbers of men and women who served the country was during the Vietnam War, which I think is really interesting. That's why there is an Illinois car donation which is a program for the Vietnam Veterans. The Illinois State Council's Vietnam Veterans of America accepts car donations or truck or van and proceeds will benefit and provide critical support services for the country's defenders of freedom.

Do you have spare or extra car, truck, or van right now? If you are willing, you can donate a car in a very simple step. You just have to check out the vietnamveteranscardonation.com page and there, easy-to-follow instructions will meet you. There is a simple form to be filled up, you can then schedule a FREE vehicle pickup, and if you want, you can choose to receive a tax deductible receipt. The joy is not in the fact that you have a lot of cars running on the road. For me, real joy is when you are able to give and share the extra that you have in order to help another in need. I hope have a generous heart!
