SICK!!!

Just when I thought the effect of the change of climate that I experienced days after we got here in hot and humid Philippines was already over, last week, a terrible fight with flu took place! I never knew my body could be that weak, not until I had the weakest feelings ever, physically! I thought a rush to the emergency room was the most appropriate thing to do, thankfully, my ever alert eldest sister was here to calm me down, giving me the first aid that I needed. It was only a puff of the inhaler that made me breathe the easiest, simply because the wheezing and the shortness of breath that I experienced was caused by a severe asthma attack!

I know, I need air filters whenever possible. But I am here in Philippines right now and it's just not possible to have one in our home because of the open ventilation that we have here and the exposure to dust and sand. Now I can't wait to go back to our home in WI. Over there, I can never expect to have such kind of asthma episode that I have here because the environment is way fresher than here!
