I couldn't wait till swithart will be done with his schooling. You see, I do have a plan of my own regarding school and career and I could only start taking the first step once swithart will be finished with his PhD. of friends and dates

Today is supposed to be a big day for me and Triz as I and my friends here in CDO agreed to have a get-together somewhere. See, a friend of us just arrived from her vacation in HK and she didn't know that I am here, so when she learned that I am, she immediately contacted me and asked if we could see each other. Whew! We all are very excited to see each other. BUT... Triz had a temperature, AGAIN, this morning, and until now, she still is sick. The next thing I know, I was sending text messages to all of my friends that I wouldn't be able to make it as I couldn't take Triz outside with just me. Sayang... But when it's Triz's condition, I just couldn't sacrifice my enjoyment. Well, everybody understood though, and we just decided to set a new date soon. :)

Gifts, Yay!

Gifting options is way different in Philippines and in US. In every little celebration and event back there, a gift or more is never missed by anyone. When we got here two months ago, I was given a gift basket filled with fruits that I so missed for the longest. It was such a great thing alright. Seeing those fruits that I couldn't wait to bite, I became full. LoL. Now, being here for quite a longer time already, it's like I am becoming so used to these yummy goodies. I am sure when we'll leave and return to the US, I will miss these delicious fruities once again. It is never too late though to enjoy more of these foods. I still have two more months left. Meantime, I am excited for swithart's arrival. Hmm... Triz is, as well!

Maybe a Treadmill? Sure!

From our tiring activity over the weekend, I experienced tiresome and felt the need to rest. See, I have been stressed and pressured from last week's days at the hospital and I was never given a day to rest and pamper myself. Hopefully, when swithart comes, I could go to a body spa to give myself a break. Hehe.. Anyway, I was asked what exercise machine or equipment I would want to put in my own house when the time comes, and of course, I would say I would never miss to have a treadmill then! Such a valuable device for me! Well, not only me actually but to everybody around here. A perfect thing, along with our active walking and jogging every week. No, it is not on a strict implementation, just trying to maintain a good and healthy condition for all time.

friends, friends, friends!

It's one of my goals to come home-- to meet with friends! A couple of days after I arrived in CDO, I have to see my college buddies since they've been waiting for me anxiously to see me with a child in tow. Haha. We are eight in the group and the thing is, it is so hard for all of us to meet together since career brought us separately in this busy world. Lol. We had to bear with each other's schedule, and it's too bad, three of our friends who were just here in CDO weren't able to be with us because of work schedule. Anyway, here's us- happy and enjoying each other's company!

Here's the four of us with Shawn-shawn and Triz! Two weren't able to make it to be with us, while the other one was in HK for a vacation. Charis, the seventh is in the US and won't come home until December of this year. And the other one is currently in Dubai right now. Hopefully, in July, we all could get together when Ivy from Dubai will be here.

Walk-in Tubs

I would have to write about walk in bathtubs! You see, as my older sister's house property is getting near it's end of the construction, she is giving herself the task to get those materials, furnitures, and equipments that she's gonna be putting in their house. And one of the questions that she has raised: to put a walk-in tub or just the plain bathtub. I let her see what I came up with with such question and it's browsing arwholesale.com for their beautiful and elegant walk in bathtubs! No, I wouldn't deny falling in love with the walk in kind! =>I live in Cagayan de Oro City and the nearest big city is two hours away- Iligan and Malaybalay. BUT they're not really that big as you imagine a city to be, but Davao City which is six hours away from here is really, really big!

=>To swithart, it's 1. But to any other people, it's 9 or 10. Well, it actually depends on what kind of a secret it is!

=>Hmmm... it's been that long I can't even remember! Maybe when I was in Davao just weeks after I got here in 'pinas and I was really exhausted and tired from carrying Triz because she doesn't go to anybody. It wasn't whole week but just a day that I really didn't my family in their outing, instead, I went home with Triz and slept the whole afternoon. LoL. That's when I gained my strength and power back.

My Notebook Computer

If I didn't have my notebook computer with me right now, I don't know what I am gonna do! LoL. Getting one for yourself is such a great privilege to still get connected in the online world even when traveling and away from your loved ones. Its portability is amazing, really. Now that I am on vacation and I don't have the dsl connection that I used to have back in US, the wireless feature of this Dell lappy of mine works really great! It's been acting up a little some time ago and I have thought of getting a new one via buy.com but the resources just won't permit me as of now. Sometime soon, I am gonna replace this with a new one, or may be leave this unit here when I go back home but I still have to let my self learn how to let go of this one. You see, I love this laptop of mine ever since this was handed to me by swithart! But if ever I'll replace this soon, it would be great if it's gonna be this one for replacement. Tadda!!!

gimme a break!!!

Yes, I am given a break! Monday and Tuesday... two straight days that I haven't gotten out. I just slept and today, I did my laundry. The people here at home went out but I didn't go. Triz and I, and Mama. So you know I have all the time in the world for my me-me time. Hmm... had those ordinary meals after the huge party last weekend and that make me feels good. More time online, therefore, I had more time checking my mails-- inbox and junk mails, and I was able to reply most of my e-mailers. But heck, I missed my friendster, so maybe later I'll spend time on that. Have a great day ahead friends! Keep smiling....

Mother's Day celebration turned out well. After all, it was a day full of fun, foods, sands, and laughters overall. It wasn't a Mother's Day activity actually as it was a planned party for the blessing of the cab that Yaya has gotten for the family. But since it was Mother's Day, all of us mothers who were present minded the day as our day. And so, the preparation started Saturday night when I did half of the cooking:
