lookin' around

I'm standing by still at this point in time. It's late I know, but I am still chatting with my sister in Japan. We haven't had a really long talk for two weeks now and so when I e-mailed her early tonight to ask how they're doing, she e-mailed me right away and then our chatting began. I've been IMing with a couple of friends, too and I can't help but share some talks about the sad news that happened around the world. Our great Thanksgiving Day here has passed and we had a wonderful time, and yet, people around the world are mourning. We've been tuning in to a local radio station [Bombo Radyo CDO] back home via the internet and it makes us feel we're so close to home, but we can't help but be sad for all the bad and cruel news that's going on in any parts of the world. In times like this, it is best to lift up our heads and say a little prayer. I am but most thankful that all of my loved ones are doing well.
