Remember the post I've made entitled "i screwed up..." ? Well, the ending of the story in there is that we threw the dough away! It was too bad, really, because the effort that swithart and Triz exerted in making those were just put away. I was so sorry and I am just glad swithart was able to laugh at it all. I am lucky, yeah. LOL And about the baking pans-- no, we didn't buy any because fortunately, we already found our three pans that were just put away somewhere. So in the past couple of days, we have been baking breads here like a pro! Think about it, the farmer in swithart and the talker in me were able to come up with baked breads like these:
This is the result when one is missing so bad those Filipino breads. When I was pregnant, I was craving for Pan de Sal that we Pinoys love to munch for breakfast. My Kuya [older brother] is so talented in baking as he used to be a baker in one of the leading bakeries back in our place. I was calling him and was asking how to make Pan de Sal and he did teach me the how-to's but I just couldn't successfully get it. We have a Filipino friend here in town who prides herself for being too good in making Pan de Sal and she is even taking orders for it. When we tried it, it was palpak [failure] to me. The quality and the looks were there, but the taste, nah... it was nothing. But with this product of ours, I could say this is the best! Haha! I may sound to be so conceited here, but I don't care. When you can try this, you will know what I am talking about!
