If you're a parent like me, I am sure you can relate to my experiences of putting our babies/kids to take their nap. For some, it is just as easy as 1,2,3. For others, it can be really hard, especially when your child is restless and just don't like to take a nap, much more, a sleep. My 2-year-old toddler is the hardest when we talk about nap time. I remember my niece Jewell, when she was the same age as Triz now, she used to be so adamant to sleeping. Even with her eyebags becoming so weary and her body so tired from the usual activities that a todddler do, she still refuses to sleep during nap time. It's different back in Philippines because parents can make 'palo' [spunk] to their kids, you know. But here, parents are just up to the nagging and the constant talking and lecturing. And worst, preaching. Hehe... So nap time, or sleeping time is the hardest with my toddler. Like right now, I got tired of lying in bed with her just for her to go to sleep. It's been almost an hour and I feel like I am wasting my time just pretending to sleep with her. LOL. I stood up and left her there obviously. I am not a sleepy-head person myself, and I understand how forcing one to sleep becomes so hard. I've decided to just let her sleep whenever she wants. I am sure she'll get tired hanging around. You think so? Hehe... Well, I did it yesterday and it was a success. So I am doing it again now. :) Hah. Motherhood, eh?

My 3 yr old is not a big fan of naps. I've found, however, he loves to spend the time playing in his room. When he's done, he's good as new!
